LUTYENS

Located in the former Reuters building on Fleet Street, once the heart of print, media and journalism in London, Luytens is named after one of the UK's most distinguished architects Sir Edwin Lutyens.

1. Uniforms / It was Prescott & Conran's vision for the uniforms designed by Joe Casely-Hayford to be applied to the whole of the restaurant group.

Following the success of Boundary, Field Grey project managed the suppliers, facilitated the uniform rollout and customised the uniform to complement the Lutyens interiors, for example a dogtooth check tie and a little black dress for management.

2. Presentation boards / We created presentation boards to help the client identify with the current design issues with the uniforms at Boundary.

3. Environment / The management dress was based on the designs of Claire McCardell, a fashion designer influenced by the ideals of Modernism. Modernism was a big influence on the Luytens, interior design choices and an intrinsic part of the Conran idiom.
