YOTEL is a new hotel concept from Simon Woodroffe entrepreneur and founder of Yo Sushi.
1. Accessories / Field Grey sourced various brands to work with Yotel. The result was bespoke trainers for Yotel by New Balance 'Neck pods' were also developed for staff name badges and to hold BAA security passes. They also gave corporate branding placement. These pods were based on the clean white design of the i pod and were specially developed for Yotel.
2. Uniform / Field Grey was invited to develop a uniform that was to reflect the Yotel brand and personify a new attitude for the hotel industry. The uniform was to look modern and high tech, to reflect the confident outlook of the company and its staff.
The uniform design would include references to airline travel and was inspired by clothing that reflected the modern business traveller e.g. Puma-96 Hours and Prada. M.A.C cosmetics provided a bespoke colour scheme and master class for styling and grooming techniques
3. Environment / The aim of Yotel is to translate the luxury of business class air travel and combine this with the Japanese capsule hotel to provide a radical new solution to our expanding global travel requirements.
