The Art of BrandApparel: Field Grey’s Studio Shoot

15.08.2025

Months in the making, Field Grey’s latest shoot brought together our people, our projects and our vision for what a uniform can be.

Over the course of the day, we captured designs that represent the breadth of Field Grey: iconic BrandApparel from some of our most-loved clients, and a first glimpse at the newest additions to our Readywear collection.

The brief was simple: let the garments speak. Working with our long-time collaborator, stylist Gareth Scourfield, and photographer Philip Sinden, we set out to create images that showed each piece at its best — in form, fit, texture and movement.

Here’s our curated edit from the day: a celebration of the projects, people and design principles that define Field Grey.

Readywear

We captured fresh styles for Readywear. Versatile new pieces — including new relaxed Short Sleeved Shirts — designed for the pace and personality of modern hospitality teams. More to come.

The Sloane Club

A Chelsea institution since 1922, The Sloane Club’s relaunch blends heritage with a fresh, contemporary spirit. Our collection of BrandApparel – from velvet tailoring to elegant dresses – reflects the club’s refined interiors while offering a sense of belonging for every team member.

SHŌTŌ

A contemporary Japanese izakaya in the heart of Washington DC, SHŌTŌ’s warm wooden interiors and muted palette inspired a tie-waisted jacket and dress in black, white and navy. The collection extended from front of house to chef whites – each piece in harmony with the quietly dramatic setting.

ĀKĒDO

Entered through a vending machine, ĀKĒDO’s speakeasy energy is bold, playful and graphic. Space-invader motifs bring a flash of fun to tailored tie-waisted jackets. Uniforms made to match the beat of the room.

Langdale Hotel

Set in the heart of the Lake District, The Langdale’s BrandApparel – drawn largely from our Readywear range – reflects its blend of cool luxury and relaxed warmth. Earthy tones, natural fabrics and subtle branding create comfortable, functional BrandApparel for roles across the estate.

London Coliseum

For the London Coliseum’s renovation, we designed a collection that balances theatrical grandeur with modern versatility. Royal blue suiting, bespoke gold brooches and unique linings made from repurposed ENO costumes bring history, sustainability and a touch of drama to every role.
