25.06.2015

The latest in a series of Tate collaborations sees one of our favourite London designers, Margaret Howell, team with Tate to produce an exclusive range of clothing and accessories to celebrate the current Barbara Hepworth exhibition.

The collection includes a cropped duffle coat in dry proofed cotton with wooden toggles and a Cornish smock in indigo denim with front pockets.

A canvas apron (of course) and scarves with a minimalist pebble design complete the collection, along with our favourite piece: the cotton/linen work shirt.

“Barbara Hepworth is one of a few special people who have inspired me – through her work, her life, and her style,” said Howell. “She was a woman to roll up her sleeves, and a woman who needed pockets – for chisel, pencil, and pebbles from the beach,” she said on her website, also discussing her connections to the artist through holidays in St Ives and life in the Yorkshire dales.

The range is available Margaret Howell: Tate and in both Tate galleries – it’s already selling out, so grab some while you can!
