The all-day restaurant boasts Demetre&#8217;s modern European menu in a decadent setting, designed by interior designer Jim Hamilton. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" src=\"https:\/\/www.field-grey.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/Sofitel-WildHoney-1640-HighRes-2-1400x788-600x400.jpg\" alt=\"Wild Honey St James Interior\" class=\"wp-image-13359\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.field-grey.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/Sofitel-WildHoney-1640-HighRes-2-1400x788.jpg 600w, https:\/\/www.field-grey.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/Sofitel-WildHoney-1640-HighRes-2-1400x788-400x267.jpg 400w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Field Grey were approached by Sofitel London to design a unique day-to-night solution for the team at Wild Honey St James and the venue&#8217;s sister bar, St James Bar. A smart but relaxed approach was required for daytime staff, with a more formal solution required for the team in the evenings. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" src=\"https:\/\/www.field-grey.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/Sofitel-WildHoney-1450-HighRes-1-1400x788-600x400.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-13360\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.field-grey.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/Sofitel-WildHoney-1450-HighRes-1-1400x788.jpg 600w, https:\/\/www.field-grey.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/Sofitel-WildHoney-1450-HighRes-1-1400x788-400x267.jpg 400w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In response to these unique circumstances, we have designed a special collection that allows the team to quickly change from day to evening. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"319\" src=\"https:\/\/www.field-grey.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/LineUp-600x319.jpg\" alt=\"Field Grey Wild Honey St James Illustration\" class=\"wp-image-13357\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.field-grey.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/LineUp.jpg 600w, https:\/\/www.field-grey.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/LineUp-400x213.jpg 400w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>We created a base uniform to distinguish between roles, providing bespoke tailoring for all staff. We looked to Coco Chanel and the catwalks for female trouser inspiration, selecting an elegant, wide-leg cut with feature buttons. We designed a bespoke shirt for <g class=\"gr_ gr_17 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inline_cards gr_disable_anim_appear Grammar only-ins replaceWithoutSep\" id=\"17\" data-gr-id=\"17\">waiting<\/g> staff, while service staff wear our Readywear plain bib shirt in white. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" src=\"https:\/\/www.field-grey.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/TrouserInspo-600x400.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-13361\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.field-grey.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/TrouserInspo.jpg 600w, https:\/\/www.field-grey.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/TrouserInspo-400x267.jpg 400w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>To transform for evening service, staff don waistcoats inspired by the look and feel of the trousers. A double-breasted option was chosen with buttons that mirror the placement of buttons on the female trousers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For a smarter, sartorial look, staff also wear <a href=\"https:\/\/www.field-grey.com\/blog\/tag\/readywear\/\">Readywear<\/a> sleeve garters in both burgundy and toast colours &#8211; these also double as a practical item. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" src=\"https:\/\/www.field-grey.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/Gallery-St-James-Bar-0653a-HighRes-1400x788-600x400.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-13362\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.field-grey.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/Gallery-St-James-Bar-0653a-HighRes-1400x788.jpg 600w, https:\/\/www.field-grey.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/Gallery-St-James-Bar-0653a-HighRes-1400x788-400x267.jpg 400w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Finally, the collection features two apron options: a short apron for bar staff and a full-length apron for staff at the restaurant.
