In the midst of a global climate crisis, we did wonder if we should be sending Christmas cards at all, but then we thought &#8211; what if we can create something that helps the planet, rather than hinders?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"600\" src=\"https:\/\/www.field-grey.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/Card1-600x600.jpg\" alt=\"Field Grey Christmas Card\" class=\"wp-image-13680\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.field-grey.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/Card1-600x600.jpg 600w, https:\/\/www.field-grey.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/Card1-400x400.jpg 400w, https:\/\/www.field-grey.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/Card1.jpg 700w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The result is a fabric patch, with which you can repair beloved clothes. With a &#8216;make do and mend&#8217; mentally, we&#8217;re encouraging you to buy less this year and repair what you&#8217;ve got. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Patches<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The patches are made from leftover fabrics from both our Readywear range and our previous collections, and we encourage you to give your garments a second life as we have with this fabric.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Printers<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The card is printed by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.calverts.coop\">Calverts<\/a>, a cooperative based in East London. Calverts work with clients to deliver print and design solutions that are socially and environmentally responsible.
