They certainly look the part in beautiful bespoke Field Grey wool coats, made in London and finished with flat caps in the same fabric. Originally from Poland, he\u2019s lived in London since 2005 and has worked with the wider Fulham organisation for well over 15 years, taking on roles across various sites.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He loves the new coat \u2013 \u201cvery comfy\u201d. Though he won&#8217;t need it for long this winter as he\u2019s headed home for a seven-week break that will include skiing and much-needed rest: \u201cWe\u2019re working all day, all year.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Festive food? Michal prefers something lighter: Vietnamese and Thai dishes. And his drink of choice? \u201cToo many Red Bulls,\u201d he laughs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"480\" height=\"600\" src=\"https:\/\/www.field-grey.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/IMG_8772-480x600.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-15958\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.field-grey.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/IMG_8772-480x600.jpg 480w, https:\/\/www.field-grey.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/IMG_8772-320x400.jpg 320w, https:\/\/www.field-grey.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/IMG_8772.jpg 700w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 480px) 100vw, 480px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Paul, the sportsman<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>At 43, Essex born-and-bred Paul is one of Fulham Pier\u2019s newest recruits, having joined five months ago.<br>\u201cIt\u2019s really nice\u2026 everyone\u2019s friendly,\u201d he tells us. He\u2019s a fan of the uniform, too: \u201cIt works well, it looks nice\u2026 keeps you warm. What keeps the job interesting for him is the variety: \u201cEvery day is different. You meet new people.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He describes the uniform as smart and comfortable \u2013 exactly what you want when you\u2019re representing a venue as busy as Fulham Pier. Outside of work, football is his passion. And his team? Chelsea. \u201cI have to be honest,\u201d he says with a smile.
