It is often fundamental to our design process to consider the range of uses that a client&#8217;s brand affords; this could include anything from implementing a brand mark as an embroidered feature through to incorporating brand colours or features into the cuts and designs of our projects. <\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.field-grey.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/kobe-bryant-typeface-4-1280x816.jpg\" alt=\"kobe-bryant-typeface-4-1280x816\" width=\"680\" height=\"434\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-4705\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.field-grey.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/kobe-bryant-typeface-4-1280x816.jpg 700w, https:\/\/www.field-grey.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/kobe-bryant-typeface-4-1280x816-300x191.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.field-grey.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/kobe-bryant-typeface-4-1280x816-1024x653.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 680px) 100vw, 680px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>With this in mind, we were thrilled to see our neighbours Sawdust had been tasked with the challenge of creating a bespoke typeface for Nike&#8217;s products associated with NBA basketball star Kobe Bryant.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.field-grey.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/kobe-bryant-typeface-10-1280x816.jpg\" alt=\"kobe-bryant-typeface-10-1280x816\" width=\"680\" height=\"434\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-4706\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.field-grey.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/kobe-bryant-typeface-10-1280x816.jpg 700w, https:\/\/www.field-grey.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/kobe-bryant-typeface-10-1280x816-300x191.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.field-grey.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/kobe-bryant-typeface-10-1280x816-1024x653.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 680px) 100vw, 680px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Sawdust approached the challenge with the same energetic process as they have for a stunning roster of clients including Wired, Audi, ESPN and Coca-Cola.
